US Club Soccer requirements govern ECNL and ECNL Regional teams. In addition to the clearance and training process and creation of Stack Sports account described above, coaches are required to get a TGS Account. Make sure your photo is up to date.

Step 7: DA Coaches Only: Complete a background check. Click here to complete. Note: This system is NOT compatible with Safari.
Instructions: (Note: The background check takes 7-10 business days to process.)
If you have any questions, please contact the National Center for Safety Initiatives at 866.833.7100 Anyone needing to run an international background check must also email firstname.lastname@example.org for an international application
Step 8: DA Coaches Only -- SafeSport Training and Upload of Additional Documentation (should already be completed in step 1)
All coaches, trainers, and staff with access to athletes are required to complete the SafeSport training. In addition, following passage of S.534 – the Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse and Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017 (the “SafeSport Act”), U.S. Soccer urges all Development Academy clubs to ensure all club personnel are trained, whether or not they work with a Development Academy team, from Board members to volunteers.
The SafeSport Training Platform requires a 90-minute course for completion. Once the course has been completed, the “SafeSport Trained” certificate must be uploaded in U.S. Soccer Connect under the coaches/staff members registration. (For club personnel not working with Development Academy teams, there is no need to upload the certificate).
Any questions on the Development Academy risk management process can be directed to the club’s Director of Operations.
